Sable is just 7 months old, but she has already experienced what it means to be unwanted. She and her siblings were part of a litter no one planned for, and after months without finding homes, they were surrendered to APL. She is still a puppy, playful, curious, and full of life, but she is spending her early months in a shelter instead of learning what it means to belong to a family.
The longer she waits, the more she risks growing up without the stability every dog deserves. Sable did not choose this start to life, but she is still hoping for a better ending.

Many still require medical treatment, including surgeries and dental work, but are already showing encouraging signs of healing.
